Over the next few weeks I’m going to be walking through and sharing with you some of my 2015 goals! I talked about having goals over resolutions last week and felt it necessary to show how I’m practicing what I preach; not only for the sake of sharing but for externally keeping myself accountable! The goals I have set up for 2015 parallel both my life and my work. My work meaning this blog and The Simple Cup.
Naturally because I enjoy breaking everything down into its simplest form possible, my goals are becoming goals within goals. So I have a main overarching goal that is comprised of more baby goals. :) It’s easier for me to digest this way.
This year I am going to maintain strategic & systematic organization. That sounds intense for the sake of sounding intense I think… It basically means I am going to organize things in a way that KEEPS them organized. I find myself constantly digging through piles of papers and (metaphorically speaking) mountains of emails. I start out organized and somehow, most likely because of falling behind, I end up more unorganized then I started. Does this happen to anyone else?
So, I am starting to devise a plan – and actually set aside time each week simply for organizing. This means organizing both my business endeavors as well as my life. Once one portion is organized I have a good feeling that there will be a butterfly effect. When things are organized, I feel like I can breath and that ultimately means more productivity.
Next week : our goal involving Failure.
